Tasting Notes: Tangy, Savory, Sour, Earthy, and absolutely packed with Umami. This is a hot sauce made from a variety of heirloom peppers dried and aged nearly a year before being blended together with fermented soy beans bound to be soy sauce. The heat here is mild; and it's much more of a condiment that adds rich, savory character to anything you use it on.
Usage: This is a fantastic hot sauce to use as is; an excellent condiment to throw on anything savory. We love it with roasted or grilled veggies, but it's a natural pair to pork, poultry, red meat, and game as well. It's a lovely addition to meat alternatives like tofu or plant-based meats as it gives a huge dose of umami they benefit from.
