About: Our Black Locust Syrup is a combination of our Black Locust Vinegar, Organic Cane Sugar, and then freshly foraged Black Locust Flowers at the peak of their season. We cold steep the flowers in the syrup for just over a month before bottling it; giving it the freshest qualities of the flowers and the mature, caramel notes of the aged vinegar.
Tasting Notes: Medium acidity and super floral. Flavors like watermelon, honeysuckle, nectarine, madeira, sherry, and caramel.
Pairings: This is a great addition to a cocktail, or base for non alcoholic drinks; perfect to just mix with sparkling water for a sophisticated alternative to conventional sodas. It's also fantastic for fruit based desserts, or lighter pastries.
