Hot honey is the new hit condiment and we think this version is a cut above. We've combined raw honey from Golden Angels Apiary with ripe mangoes and a potent blend of South Asian spices for a complex and aromatic drizzle. In addition to heirloom and Kashmiri chile, this honey is flavored with dried green mango, curry leaves, turmeric, ginger, and mango-like paw paw fruit.
We finished the blend with doses of Heirloom Pepper and Paw Paw Vinegars to contribute bright contrast. Pour it over grits, cornbread, grilled chicken, or pizza. It makes a great dipping sauce for coconut shrimp, too! Unlike regular honey, this hot honey should be refrigerated after opening.
