Pumpkin Spice Mugolio


Pumpkin Spice Mugolio is a seasonal syrup you’ll want to drizzle over everything. It’s rich and complex with a tangy molasses sweetness that evokes both pumpkin and the spices used to make it sing. Spoon it over pie and ice cream, mix it into a latte, or add a pumpkin spiced verve to roasted root vegetables.

Mugolio is a Swiss alpine syrup made by cold-steeping young green pinecones with sugar until they surrender their fragrant liquid. We use this method to make Magnolio, our Southern spin on the European tradition that incorporates magnolia buds and twigs for a uniquely floral syrup. This new Pumpkin Spice Mugolio adds cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom, along with a touch of foraged native spicebush for a subtle wintergreen finish. Even if you’re not an everything-pumpkin fan, we think you’ll enjoy its honeyed spicy sweetness. We’re loving it on a cracker with brie, and it’s a dynamite cocktail mixer with bourbon, rye, or rum.
